Ann Hartman (1926- ) earned her B.A. from Wellesley in 1947, a Masters in Social Work from Smith College in 1954, and a doctorate in Doctorate in Social Work from Columbia University in 1972. She worked as a caseworker, 1950-58, in New York and Ohio. She was a Professor of Social Work at University of Michigan, 1974-86, and at Fordham University 1969-74.
